About us

AS / Architects is a Yerevan-based architecture and urban planning studio working across multiple scales from individual buildings to the wider urban environment.

We approach architecture and urban planning as interconnected disciplines. A building is never an isolated object, it is part of a street, a neighborhood and a larger system of public spaces, movement, landscape and everyday life.

Our work begins by understanding this broader context. We study how people move, interact and experience a place, then develop architectural and urban solutions that respond to both the immediate site and the city around it.

By combining architectural design with urban thinking, we aim to create spaces that function not only within their boundaries, but contribute meaningfully to the environment they become part of.

For us, architecture is not only about designing buildings. It is about shaping places, connections and the way cities are experienced.
